Initially inspired by Stouffville Resident of the Year for 2019 Roger Davidson who, at the time, walked 10+ km per day on Stouffville Trails with his dog Bosco, we decided to establish Monthly Community Cleanups led by Lions with help from community volunteers!

The first Saturday of every month, as long as the ground is not covered in snow, you will find your Lions Club with volunteers from the community helping pickup garbage.

Wow what a difference has been made over the past 3 years.  Below are just a sample of the garbage collection photos that we have managed to document our success.  As always, together we can make a difference!  Join us.    We provide the bags and gloves and grabbers.  You provide the labour!  Follow our Facebook page where we will announce the location of the cleanup a few days before the "First Saturday of the Month".  We would love to hear your suggestions of where you think we should plan a cleanup!
